Closing a RupiahX account

In the app

Open Account → Security → Close account. Your balance must be zero, with no transaction in progress. You will be asked for your PIN and a one-time code.

Without the app

Message RupiahX support on WhatsApp at +628989899666 from the number registered to your account, and say you want to close it. We only act on requests from the account's own number.

What happens next

Your account locks at once, and you can still cancel during a grace period. After that, your name, phone number, devices, contacts and notifications are deleted. Identity verification data and transaction records are kept for the transaction-record retention period, then deleted. Amounts stay in the books for accounting, without your name or phone number.
